If you’re from Colorado, then you’re probably familiar with the monthly art-walk on Santa Fe known as First Friday, when people line the streets with music, art and food. This month Green Man was able to participate in the event by teaming up with NewsEd, a non-profit community development organization that helps provide support to low income neighborhoods.
It turned out to be one awesome evening.
The parking lot was buzzing with vendors in anticipation for the nights activities, Green Man’s booth was nestled nicely in between the covered seating area and the beer and margarita stand with a perfect view of the stage. The live music provided by Selasee and Fafa Family was on point, reggae and funk tunes filled the air as people started to flow in. Unique and appetizing smells from the many food trucks lingered in the air as people enjoyed their drinks and danced the night away.
The Green Man Team was on the scene with fun and games, meeting people and spreading the word about our award winning cannabis. Visitors enjoyed playing corn hole and were pleasantly surprised by being awarded a 10% off store coupon just for playing the game! Fans lined up to submit email addresses for a chance to win our raffle prizes and stuffed their pockets with free Green Man Gear!
“It was a great opportunity for us to get out into the community, especially because this is our neighborhood.” The parking lot was located just 6 blocks south of Green Man’s downtown location at 1355 Santa Fe Drive, which was the perfect way to interact with the neighbors, residents and businesses alike.
